Impact Summer is Over.

Christmas was amazing! For 2 weeks, 80+ kids and lots of fun, we had an epic food fight with caned baked beans, oatmeal, and flour! I am still getting it out of my hair.
We had a speaker named Arie from Perth; he challenged all of us on what it means to be a follower of Jesus. A lot of the kids really meet Jesus in that first week. Then we help Stable on the Strand, and a lot of the kids shared their faith for the first time. We also ended up in the town newspaper!
There was a walk threw stable were all of us dressed up and got to act out the storey in the bible as people walked threw. It was so much fun, I got to hold a small horse for a good part of one of the nights. It was so worth it to miss Christmas back home and be apart of Impact Summer and develop friendships with a lot of the kids. But the best part was watching them start to really understand how much they mean to God and how much they can make a difference in this world.
