Second Stop: Palorise Island!

If you were stranded on a deserted island and you could bring 3 things, what would they be?



ME! I would bring a boat, bible and bus full of 9th graders!
We spent the last four days on a deserted Island with 35, 9th graders. Our team was camp counselors and the guest speakers for 4 days. It was so amazing! The topic was “God’s Love” with an enfaces on “Created for a Purpose”. We got to really have a chance to impact a little part of their lives. On the last night we shared life storey about how we encountered God. Some of the teens rededicated their lives others wanted prayer and some first timers got to meet God that night. With many other adventures like: We climbed to the top of the island and got lost coming down, that was an adventurer with 14 and 15 year olds! Or jumping off a cliff into shark infested waters! (it was safe we had a look out) All of them have such a special place in my heart. It was such a pleaser to speak life into them because I remember 9th grad and that was not a fun year. There was such confusion, the questions that pledged me: Who am I and why am I here and How to survive High School? The cool thing about God is He is all about showing us what He as made us to be and why we are here because it draws us closer to Him and others.
